The Fifth Marche des Fiertés de Limoges Leaves Place de la République at 14:00 on 12 September

The fifth Marche des Fiertés de Limoges is on Saturday 12 September 2026, and the day is longer than the march. The village associatif opens on Place de la République at 10:00 and stays open until 18:00, so there are four hours of programme before anybody starts walking and two hours after. The poster for this edition carries the line "L'amour qui nous (ré)unit".

The morning at the village runs from 10:00 to 12:30 with a placard workshop, hair and glitter, a bar and a merchandise stand. The village also has a prevention area offering rapid, discreet testing for HIV and hepatitis B and C, which is the sort of thing that is easier to walk up to on a Saturday among thousands of people than to arrange in a clinic. Institutional speeches follow at 13:30, with French sign language interpretation. The march itself leaves at 14:00 and is back around 16:00; the organisers mark the route as suitable for people with reduced mobility, and two first aid organisations, UNASS and Les Affolé·es de la Frange, are on the village and walking with the march.

From 16:30 the programme returns to the village. Billed are the comedian Marie Bô, the singer Christophe Madrolle, the cabaret performer Yvette Leglaire and the circus duo La Cie Pittoresque. Several associations have announced stands, among them Amnesty International, Info Jeunes Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Fiertés 19 from neighbouring Corrèze.

Two of the three venues we list in Limoges appear on the organisers' own programme. L'Improbable on rue des Petites Maisons is opening from 18:00 to 02:00 with happy hour prices through the evening, and the programme lists the Eros saunas on rue Jean Jaurès as opening both their sides on the Saturday and the Sunday after. Anyone hoping to find the Lim'Bow centre itself should check first: the association opened it to the public on 24 May and it is shut at the moment after flooding.

This is a small regional capital and the march is not a mass event, which is what makes the numbers worth knowing. The first edition in 2022 drew around 2,000 people and the second around 2,300, a scale at which the local associations, the trade unions and the human rights groups all walk in one procession rather than in blocs. The city supports the village associatif. The nearest other Pride the same weekend is La Fierté est dans le pré in Saint-Laurent, and that is 190 km away, so this is the Pride of its whole region on the day.

France scores 60.25 out of 100 on ILGA-Europe's Rainbow Index. Marriage and joint adoption have been law since 2013. Our country page for France has the rest.
