About this Event
The fifth Marche des Fiertés de Limoges sets off from Place de la République, in the centre of the city. Lim'Bow, the LGBTI+ centre for the Limousin, has organised it since the first edition in 2022, and it grew fast: that first march drew around 2,000 people and the second around 2,300.
A village associatif takes over a city square around the march, with stands and workshops run by local groups. That is where the associations behind the day are actually reachable rather than only visible in the procession.
Limoges is a small regional capital, so the march is a close-knit one. Trade unions and the city's human rights organisations walk with the LGBTI+ associations. Lim'Bow keeps a drop-in centre open in the city through the rest of the year.
