L'Improbable is a gay and lesbian bar in La Cite, the oldest quarter of Limoges, a short walk below the cathedral and the terraced gardens that drop away behind it. It describes itself as open to LGBTQI+ people and their friends.
The room is small and the programme is what fills it. Disco nights, themed parties, and cabaret evenings with touring drag acts. Drinks rather than food.
Limoges has a compact scene, and this is one of two gay bars in the city.
