La Fierté est dans le pré 2026

La Fierté est dans le pré is a queer village party rather than a march, held on the esplanade of Saint-Laurent, a commune of a few hundred people in the Lot-et-Garonne countryside. This is the third edition.

The argument it makes is that rural life and being LGBTQIA+ are not a contradiction, which is a harder point to make in a department with no gay bar than it would be in Bordeaux. Entry is free. The evening runs on concerts and drag acts, with a communal meal that has to be booked ahead.

It is put on by the village's own comité des fêtes together with Fiertés 47, the LGBTQIA+ association for the department. Fiertés 47 also belongs to the Collectif Pride 47, which organises the march in Agen.
