Hallingdal Pride holds its parade in Gol on Saturday 10 October 2026, the fifth year the valley has had one. The date and the people behind it are on our event page. Since then the organisers have published a programme for the day itself, and it runs well past the parade.
The day, hour by hour
- 12:30: meet for the parade outside Café STIM in Gol
- 13:00: the parade sets off
- 13:30: welcome at Gol library (Gol bibliotek)
- 13:30 to 14:30: speeches, food and drink, time to meet people
- 14:30: drag bingo, still awaiting confirmation
- 15:30: a talk, also awaiting confirmation
- 13:30 to 17:00: a bead-making station on the theme of mental health
The bead station runs all afternoon and ties the day to World Mental Health Day, which falls on the same date. The two unconfirmed items may still change. The current programme is a PDF on the organisers' link page, next to their Facebook and Instagram accounts.
The parade depends on volunteers. In early October the organisers were still asking for people to fetch road barriers and stand guard along the road while the parade passes, recruiting through their page on Frivillig.no. Anyone in the valley that weekend who wants to help can sign up there.
Getting there
Gol lies in the Hallingdal valley on the Bergen Railway, the line between Oslo and Bergen, and has its own station, so the parade can be reached by train from either city. The programme lists nothing after 17:00, and we do not list any venues in Gol or elsewhere in Hallingdal.
