CSD Bad Belzig Leaves the Station at 13:00 on 19 September

The third CSD in Bad Belzig is on Saturday 19 September 2026. People meet at the station from 12:30, the demonstration sets off at 13:00 and takes about an hour to reach the Marktplatz, and a street festival runs on the square from 14:00 to 17:00. The organisers bring the music for the march themselves. The basics are on our event page; the programme below is what the organisers have since published on csd-belzig.de.

On the Marktplatz

The music comes from Kisse, DJ Adrian, DJ Crab Apple and the Bad Belzig Brass Band, and Sinnermon BunBun does a drag show. The mayor, Robert Pulz, speaks, and so does Christiane Moldenhauer, pastor of the Protestant parish of Bad Belzig. The organisers have asked further speakers and not yet named them.

The photographer Sareh Oveysi made an exhibition for this CSD, titled "Queer auf dem Land", queer in the countryside, and it is shown on the square. Food and drink come from the bistro at the Fläming-Bahnhof, and the Fläming-Gymnasium is expected to run a cake stall.

An awareness team in pink vests is on duty for the whole event. Anyone who is insulted, harassed or crowded, or who sees somebody else in need of help, can go to them, and they can also find a quiet spot away from the crowd.

Who puts it on

Six groups call the CSD together: the alliance Fläming für alle, the ZEGG education centre, the Partnership for Democracy Hoher Fläming, the Infocafé "Der Winkel", the Protestant parish and the Potsdam-Mittelmark branch of the DGB trade union federation. The Brandenburg ministry for labour, social affairs, health and social cohesion funds it, as the poster states.

Getting there

We list no bars or clubs in Bad Belzig itself. Berlin is the obvious base for the day: our Berlin city guide covers the bars, clubs and saunas there, and the regional train arrives at the same station where the demonstration gathers.

Germany in brief

Same-sex marriage has been legal in Germany since 1 October 2017, and joint adoption came with it. Germany scores 69.54 out of 100 on ILGA-Europe's Rainbow Index. Our Germany page has the detail.

Other CSDs nearby

Two more Brandenburg towns march on the same Saturday: CSD Teltow-Fläming in Jüterbog, 37 km away, and CSD Oberhavel in Hennigsdorf, 69 km away.

A week later, on 26 September, there is CSD Bernau (90 km), CSD Gera (144 km) and CSD Görlitz-Zgorzelec (198 km). Prenzlau holds its first CSD on 10 October, 157 km to the north-east.
