About this Event
Görlitz and Zgorzelec are one city split by the Neisse and by a border, and their Christopher Street Day is run as one event across both halves. It carries a German name and a Polish one, and everything the organisers publish comes in both languages.
The motto for 2026 is "love::united". This is the fifth edition, which for a place of sixty thousand people on the eastern edge of Saxony is a run worth noting in itself.
The parade moves through both towns with speeches along the way and ends on the Elisabethplatz, where a picnic takes over: information stands, food and drink, and a stage programme through the afternoon.
