About this Event
Gera closes the Thuringian CSD season. The city runs its Christopher Street Day through an association of its own, one of five in the state that work together under a shared name.
The motto for 2026 is "Let your true colors shine". Eastern Thuringia is not a comfortable place to be visibly queer, and a CSD here is worth more than its size suggests: the association has kept the day going for the best part of a decade and runs a community programme between editions.
The day follows the usual shape, a demonstration through the city and a stage programme with information stands afterwards.
