Out! Oldambt takes place in Winschoten from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2026. It is organised by the local foundation Manna22 with Cultuurhuis De Klinker, S.W.O., Stilo and the municipality of Oldambt. Most of the weekend now sits in one building, De Klinker, and the main day is the Sunday.
Friday and Saturday
The weekend opens on the Friday at the Oldambt town hall. The same evening, youth centre 't Spoor holds an LGBTIQ+ meeting for people aged 12 to 27, according to the programme published in OldambtNu and Westerwolde Actueel.
On Saturday 10 October at 20:00, De Klinker shows Pillion in its small hall, Harry Lighton's 2026 film with Harry Melling as a shy traffic warden and Alexander Skarsgård as the leather-clad biker he falls for. It runs 105 minutes, in English. The films were chosen by De Regenbooggroep Oldambt.
Sunday at De Klinker
The festival day on 11 October starts at 12:00 with an opening by mayor Cora-Yfke Sikkema. De Klinker lists La Petite Dernière in its main hall from 12:00. Hafsia Herzi's film follows a 17-year-old from the Paris suburbs who finds she can be queer in the city and does not yet know how to square that with her faith. It won the Queer Palm at Cannes, and Nadia Melliti took the best actress award there for the lead.
Through the afternoon there are two exhibitions, workshops and a conversation with author Fem Canes about her book Vrouw met Ballen. At 15:00 Margriet van der Linden, the former editor of Opzij, plays a try-out of her stand-up show Annie, are you OK?, which runs through her life from an orthodox Christian childhood to becoming what she calls the first lesbian talk show host. Tickets are 15 euros. De Klinker asks anyone needing a wheelchair space to arrange it with the box office in advance.
Getting there, and what else is on
Winschoten is on the railway between Groningen and Leer, about half an hour from Groningen by train. We do not list any bars or clubs in the town itself.
The Netherlands opened civil marriage to same-sex couples in 2001, the first country to do so, and scores 63.82 out of 100 on ILGA-Europe's Rainbow Index. More on our Netherlands page.
The same weekend overlaps with several other Dutch Prides. Pride Enschede, about 100 km south, runs until 11 October. Pride Almere, 150 km away, walks through its centre on 9 October. Arnhem's Coming In Week starts on 11 October, and Leather & Fetish Pride Netherlands begins in Amsterdam on 15 October.
