Pride Almere fills a week in a city built on land reclaimed from the Zuiderzee, which got its first houses in the 1970s.
The Pride Almere Walk goes through the centre of town. Around it the foundation and its partners put on a diner in the Burgerzaal of the town hall, theatre and a children's show at the Kunstlinie, and the Roze Danspaleis.
Almere is about twenty minutes by train from Amsterdam, and the foundation works across Flevoland rather than the city alone.
