About this Event
Pride Enschede runs for ten days in October. It was known for years as the Regenboogdagen Enschede and now carries the newer name, which the organisation puts down to visibility and to wanting a city where people can be themselves.
It is a partnership rather than one association. The municipality of Enschede, Vizier and Discriminatie.nl Oost-Nederland, cultural institutions, local businesses and residents all sit in it, under the Pride Netwerk Twente banner.
Because the programme is assembled from what those partners put on, it spreads across theatres, cafes and public space rather than filling one square. A rainbow breakfast opens the ten days, and the Wilminktheater carries part of the programme.
