Hamar Pride gathers on the Stortorget, the main square, on Saturday 19 September 2026, with a parade through the town centre and a programme on the square. Times and the meeting point are on our event page for Hamar Pride 2026.
The organisers announced the headline act on 10 September 2026: Voi Voi, a duo whose set is built on Melodi Grand Prix songs, the Norwegian heats for the Eurovision Song Contest. Hamar Pride describes the pair as long established in the Norwegian queer scene. The announcement went out on the association's Bluesky account and on its Facebook page on the same day.
The day almost did not survive into this year. Hamar Pride writes that the 2025 edition faced cancellation until Skeiv kafé and local young people and volunteers took it on, and the parade went ahead. The association was then formally constituted in January 2026 with new statutes and an elected board, and it says its work for 2026 is to put the organisation on a solid footing and build something the whole Hamar region can join. Volunteers were still being recruited a fortnight before the date.
The organisers are direct about what the day is. Their own announcement of the 2026 parade calls Pride a peaceful protest about the difficulties LGBTQIA+ people face rather than only a party, and says the parade is followed by activities open to every age.

Hamar sits on Lake Mjøsa in Innlandet, about ninety minutes north of Oslo by train. We list no gay venues in the town, so the square is the scene for that Saturday. The one thing to know if you are planning a weekend around it: TrysilPride falls on the same date, 68 km east at Kulturhuset Hagelund in Innbygda, so the two cannot be combined.
