Arcigay Savona holds Savona Pride on Saturday 5 September 2026. The parade leaves Piazza delle Nazioni, in front of the railway station, at 15:00.
The route goes through the middle of town. It runs along Via Frugoni, Piazza Moro and Via Don Minzoni, crosses Corso Ricci into Via Sormano, and continues through Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Mameli, Via Paleocapa, Piazza Leon Pancaldo and Via Gramsci before turning onto Corso Mazzini and Viale Alighieri. It ends at Piazzale Eroe dei Due Mondi, on the Prolungamento a Mare by the sea, at around 17:00.
The claim for this edition is "Ancoratə ai diritti", anchored to rights. The organisers publish the political document behind it, a fundraiser for the costs of the day and a call for volunteers on their own page. The march has the city council's patronage.
Driving and parking on the day
The local police issued traffic order 841 for the parade, and Savonanews has published what it changes. Parking is banned from 07:00 until midnight on 5 September along Corso Mazzini, in the free car park below the Priamar fortress and in Viale Alighieri between the Corso Mazzini service road and the level crossing at the Prolungamento gardens. Further restrictions run from 11:30 to 17:00 in the streets around the route.
Vehicles carrying people with disabilities may drive into Piazza delle Nazioni and the Prolungamento gardens from 08:00 on 5 September until 01:00 the following morning. A pedestrian corridor at least 3.5 metres wide is kept clear along the whole route for emergency vehicles.
Savona, and the rest of the Italian calendar
We list no venues in Savona itself. The town sits on the Ligurian coast between Genoa and the French border, and the parade finishes on the seafront rather than in the centre.
Italy scores 24.11 out of 100 on ILGA-Europe's Rainbow Map, and our Italy page sets out what that covers. Savona Pride is one of several this month. Brescia Pride and Vesuvio Pride in Portici are on the same day. Brianza Pride in Cologno Monzese follows on 12 September and Legnano Pride on 13 September, then Pride dei Campi Flegrei in Bacoli and Vercelli Pride on 19 September.
