Global Black Pride takes place in Paris from Wednesday 9 to Sunday 13 September 2026. It is the first edition held in France and in French-speaking Europe; the 2024 edition was in Atlanta. The choice of Paris was announced on 17 October 2025 at the town hall of Paris-Centre, with the support of the city and of several French organisations.
The five days
- 9 September opening reception and press conference.
- 10 and 11 September the Global Black Queer Assembly, a conference programme, alongside a festival village with exhibitions and concerts.
- 11 September the Black Excellence Trans Rally and the Black Excellence Awards gala.
- 12 September the Global Black Pride March through the city, followed by a music festival and the official party.
- 13 September a day party and partner events across Paris.
The organisers list Arc-Essentiel, Afrique Arc-en-ciel, Divine LGBTQ+, STOP homophobie and Liquorice as partners, together with the city of Paris. STOP homophobie, one of those partners, describes the aim as the visibility of Black LGBTQIA+ people in France.
Practical notes
Tickets and conference registration go through the official site, and that is also where the venues and the march route will be published. Neither had been made public when this article was written on 11 August 2026, so a trip planned around a specific address is premature; the dates themselves are firm.
The timing matters for a second reason. Paris did not hold its own Marche des Fiertés on 27 June 2026, the police prefecture having asked organisers of large outdoor gatherings to cancel because of the heat, and the replacement date in September had not been announced as of 11 August. For anyone weighing a September trip to the city, Global Black Pride is at present the dated fixture.
