Freedj is a bar and club on two levels on rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie. The ground floor is a bar. The basement is a small club with its own booth and floor.
Upstairs the music is dance, pop and disco. The basement floor opens at weekends and entry to it is free, which is rare enough in Paris to be worth knowing.
The crowd is queer and mixed. Alongside the regular DJ sets the bar programmes drag shows and themed nights, including large ones around Pride.
