CSD Schweinfurt is on Saturday 5 September 2026, and the organisers have now put the day on their own calendar with times and places. The association behind it and the shape of the day are on our CSD Schweinfurt event page.
Everything happens on the Marktplatz. The organisers' calendar lists the demonstration from 15:00 to 16:00 and the stage programme on the same square from 16:00 to 19:00. No route with street names has been published, and for a city centre of this size the square is the whole of it in practice.
The evening moves to the Stattbahnhof, the cultural centre in the old goods station at Alte Bahnhofstrasse 8 to 12. The venue's own programme puts the afterparty in the bar from 19:00, with free entry and two DJs, and the organisers' calendar runs it through to 02:00. It is billed for queers and allies together.
The day before, on Friday 4 September from 16:00 to 20:00, there is a warm-up at the association's own premises in the old flower shop at Am Feldtor 14 in the Oberndorf district. People make demonstration placards and wristbands there. For a visitor arriving early it is the one point in the weekend where you meet the people running the thing rather than watch them work.
Schweinfurt has no gay bar, club or sauna that we list, and that is the ordinary situation for a Lower Franconian city of 50,000. The Pride is assembled by a regional association that also runs the CSD in Hassfurt, and it recruits its stewards through an open volunteer list covering both.

5 September is the busiest Saturday of the German Pride calendar this month. CSD Dortmund, CSD Erfurt, CSD Lahr, CSD Ingolstadt and Trans* Pride Stuttgart all fall on the same day.
