About this Event
Lahr holds its first CSD in 2026. A small volunteer group formed for the purpose and is in the middle of registering as an association, which is roughly the state of queer organisation in the Ortenau as a whole.
The parade sets off from the Rathausplatz, runs through parts of Lotzbeckstraße and Schillerstraße, then Kaiserstraße and Dreyspringstraße, and finishes at the Schlachthof, where there is a stage with music and speeches. A CSD church service at the Martinskirche of the Auferstehungsgemeinde in Lahr-Dinglingen opens the day.
Lahr sits between Freiburg and Offenburg and has no queer bar and no centre. The organisers describe the day as a stand for democracy and diversity, and they are still looking for stalls and sponsors.
