About this Event
CSD Dortmund is put on by SLADO, the umbrella body for the city's queer groups, and the demonstration stays at the centre of it. The procession assembles at the north exit of the main station and moves through the city to the Friedensplatz.
The Friedensplatz is where the day opens out once the march arrives. The square is given over to a street festival with a stage programme and stands from local groups, and it runs on into the evening. The official after-party moves indoors to the Domicil afterwards.
This is the 28th edition, under the motto 'Fight for Pride, kein Schritt zurueck'. The organisers publish an accessibility guide and a code of conduct for the day, which is worth a look before you go if you need step-free routes or quiet space.
