Breda Pride is on Saturday 10 October 2026, and its organisers have published the full day programme. Their own part runs from noon to 15:00 at and around the Chassé Theater and is free. After that the theatre's Be Proud Weekend takes over, with comedy, drag and a techno afterparty.
The afternoon
- 12:00 to 13:00: sign-making with Tosca at the Chassé, materials provided, and a Change Station for changing, make-up, nails and glitter. Places at the Change Station are limited.
- 13:00: Martijn, as Vicky ViQueen, opens the day and starts the walk.
- 13:10 to 14:00: the Pride Walk through the city centre, on a route the organisers describe as accessible. It starts and ends at the Chassé. The final route map has not been published yet.
- 14:00: Vicky ViQueen and Eve Fatale receive the walk back at the theatre.
- 14:15 to 15:00: speakers and performers, with Nanoah, burlesque from Eve Fatale, Alejandra Ortiz and a set by Emily Salvia, ending on the dance floor.
A workshop in the Grote Kerk from 11:00 is also on the list, with details still to come. The motto on every page is "Zichtbaar. Vrij. Samen.": visible, free, together.
The evening
From 15:00 the Chassé's own programme continues. Elmer, who won the Edison for best newcomer in 2025, plays the Jongzaal from 15:00. House of Salvia, Emily Salvia's Breda drag house, runs a dinner show in the theatre brasserie from 18:00. At 20:00 The Dutch Drag Dynasty (ChelseaBoy, The Countess and Miss Stephany) are in the main hall, and at 20:30 Kim Schuddeboom, Jorn van Dam and Davine Perik do stand-up in the small hall, hosted by Jelle Brouwer. From 22:00 the Berlin collective Herrensauna takes over the club night PULSE at MEZZ. Only the Breda Pride part is marked free, so check the theatre for the evening shows.
The weekend runs from 9 to 11 October. According to WINQ, Sunday brings a screening of Paris Is Burning with a Q&A with its director Jennie Livingston, and Sven Ratzke closes the weekend with KOPFKINO.
Breda, the country and the rest of the month
