't Piggenhuis is a café on the Nieuwstraat in Breda's old centre. A gay café has stood at this address since the late 1970s, and the present bar keeps the name and the cartoon pig that came with it. It describes itself as a Breda fixture where everyone feels at home and everyone is welcome.
There is a terrace on the street. The music is mixed rather than themed, snacks go out on the bar, and one evening a week is given over to a cheese and sausage spread that the regulars turn up for.
The room is small and the crowd is largely local. Café de Halte and Flamingoos are both a few minutes' walk away.
