Uppsala Pride's Parade Leaves Vaksala Torg at 15:00 on 26 September

Uppsala Pride is on Saturday 26 September 2026, and RFSL Uppsala has now put clock times to the day. The Pride House at Uppsala Konsert & Kongress opens at 11:00. The parade gathers on Vaksala torg from 13:30 and sets off at 15:00. The house closes again at 19:00. What the day consists of is on our Uppsala Pride event page.

Which floor holds what

The Pride House runs over four floors of the concert hall, and the building is tall enough that it is worth knowing which before you start climbing.

  • Floor 2, the entrance level: information tables, merchandise, a make-up station, a youth and craft corner, and the stage. The drag show and the after-party are here too.
  • Floor 3: information tables, the games room, RFSL's own desk, and free testing for sexually transmitted infections.
  • Floor 6: the queer clothes swap, the artist alley, the city library's book bike and RFSL's coffee table.
  • Floor 7: a chill-out room with lower lighting and somewhere to sit, set aside for anyone who has had enough noise for a while.

Access

There is an accessible toilet on every floor and a lift between them. Both ways in have a ramp, the Storgatan entrance and the one on Vaksala torg. Adapted wheelchair spaces are booked through the box office rather than claimed on the day.

Walking in the parade as an individual needs no registration. Organisations marching as a group sign up through a form on the organisers' site.

The evening needs a ticket

Everything during the day is free. At 20:00 the building reopens for the drag show and the after-party in Hall D, which runs to 03:00 and is 18 and over. Entry between 20:00 and 03:00 is only with a ticket bought in advance, so this is not a decision to leave until the evening.

The week in front of it

Pride Week fills the Monday to Friday before, 21 to 25 September, with queer events and offers around the city. The organisers have said they want to beat the 2024 turnout of roughly 3,500 people, which is the figure to hold this year's parade against.

Sweden

Sweden scores 68.43 out of 100 on ILGA-Europe's Rainbow Index, and our Sweden country page sets out the legal position for visitors. We list no venues in Uppsala itself, so for one Saturday the concert hall is the scene.
