The Marcha LGBTQIA+ de Guimarães is on Saturday 26 September 2026. On 9 September the organising group published the whole of it: the gathering is at 15:00 at the bandstand in the Alameda de São Dâmaso.
The route runs from São Dâmaso into the Toural, then Santo António, Gil Vicente and Paio Galvão, back through the Toural and to the bandstand it started from. That is a loop of the historic centre rather than a march out to a park, so most of it passes the cafés and shops of the old town on a Saturday afternoon.
It ends where it began, with a reading of the manifesto and then an open microphone at the bandstand. An arraial follows straight on from the march, and the after party is at the Associação Convívio with DJs and drag performances. Nothing is ticketed and nothing has to be booked. The organisers describe the march as a space of struggle and of claiming the rights and dignity of LGBTQIA+ people in their own town, and ask people to bring flags and their own voice.
