TrysilPride 2026 is on Saturday 19 September in Innbygda, the village at the centre of Trysil municipality. The day starts outside Kulturhuset Hagelund at 11:30, and everything on the programme is free and open to all ages. The basics are on our TrysilPride 2026 event page.
The programme
This year's motto is "Ingen Pride uten TQIA+", no Pride without TQIA+. Foreningen TrysilPride has published the running order on its event page:
- 11:30: gathering in front of Kulturhuset Hagelund on Storvegen
- 12:00: the parade sets off, crosses the flood embankment and comes back
- 12:30: speeches
- 13:30: doors open to Morensalen in the library
- 14:00: a talk by a trans woman who came out while serving in the Norwegian armed forces, about an hour long with time for questions
The organisers say the route is easy for wheelchair users. The parade is a short loop, and the talk is the part of the day that takes longest.
Trysil for a visitor
Kulturhuset Hagelund at Storvegen 5 is the municipality's main venue for concerts, theatre and cinema, with seating for a little over 400 and a café in the vestibule when something is on (Destination Trysil has the details). We do not list any queer venues in Trysil. The association behind the day was founded to work for more openness, visibility and acceptance in and around the village, and this Pride is its main public date of the year.
Norway
Norway opened marriage to same-sex couples in 2009, and since 2016 adults have been able to change their legal gender by declaration, without medical requirements. The country scores 68.6 out of 100 on ILGA-Europe's Rainbow Index. More on our Norway page.

Hamar Pride takes place on the same Saturday, about 70 km away as the crow flies, with a parade, panel talks and music. FRI's Pride calendar lists both, along with the other Norwegian Prides still to come this autumn.
