The Dutch Puppy Contest elects the next Mr, Ms or Mx Puppy NL on Saturday 17 October 2026 at Club Church on Kerkstraat in Amsterdam. The afternoon runs from 13:30 to 18:00 and mixes the contest with social time, a mosh and dancing. Spectators are welcome: there is no dress code, fetish wear is appreciated, and Club Church's own page says people of all genders and sexualities can come. There is no advance sale; entry is paid at the door, coat check included.
Three places over two days
The weekend starts on Friday 16 October with a meet and greet of the contestants and the judges at Prik on Spuistraat, from 20:00 to 22:00. On Saturday, before the doors open at Club Church, The Bronx across the street serves coffee and cake from 12:00 to 13:30. Both are on the organiser's own schedule. The contest itself is listed on our event page with all three addresses.
What the title asks of a winner
According to the contest rules, entrants must be at least 18 on the day, must live in the Netherlands during the title year, and may not hold another fetish title when they enter. The winner keeps the title for about twelve months, represents the pup community at kink and fetish events across that year, and sits on the jury that picks the next titleholder. When more people apply than the contest can take, interviews on the Friday evening decide who competes on Saturday. The organiser's photo archive goes back to 2017, when the title was still called Mr Puppy NL.
The same weekend as Leather Pride
The contest takes place in the same week as Leather & Fetish Pride Netherlands, which runs in Amsterdam from 15 to 19 October 2026 with its own Mister Leather and Mr Rubber Europe elections. Visitors in town for one can easily take in the other, and Club Church opens again at 22:00 the same Saturday for a separate night. More on the city's bars, clubs and saunas is on our Netherlands page.
