Prenzlau, the main town of the Uckermark in the north east of Brandenburg, holds its first Christopher Street Day on Saturday 10 October 2026. It is organised by CSD Uckermark e.V., a local association, and it is a demonstration through the town rather than a street festival.
The day
Participants gather on the forecourt of Prenzlau station, Stettiner Straße 52, where the day starts at 12:00. The organisers have announced speeches, music, a march through the town and an information stand of their own, and they expect to finish at around 17:00. The station is both the start and the end point, so nobody has to find their way back across town afterwards. Pyrotechnics are not allowed.
The association is still looking for stewards and asks volunteers to get in touch through its own channels before the day.
Getting there
From Berlin the RE3 runs to Prenzlau without a change; the alternative is the RE3 to Angermünde and the RE30 from there. Anyone coming on a later train is asked to tell the organisers in good time.
The region
We list no venues in Prenzlau itself. On 19 September there were demonstrations in Hennigsdorf, Jüterbog and Bad Belzig, followed by Bernau and Strausberg on 26 September, as the Nordkurier listed them. Germany scores 69.54 of 100 on ILGA-Europe's Rainbow Index; our Germany page sets out the legal situation.
Two weeks later
The next Pride in the region is the seventh Fahrrad Pride in Potsdam on 24 October, about 116 km away. Regenbogen Potsdam moved it there from June, when the forecast reached forty degrees, and it now starts at 14:00 on the Alter Markt as a demonstration by bike and on foot.
