Pembrokeshire Pride holds its 2026 festival at Dewslake Farm & Campsite near Lamphey, postcode SA71 5PB. The site opens at 11:30 on Saturday 19 September and the festival ends at 13:00 on Sunday 20 September. Our event page has the outline of the weekend.
Who is on
The organisers have named their first two headliners on the festival's ticket page. Dr Bev is a Welsh drag act. Honey Fungus is a live band from Pembrokeshire. More acts and activities are due to be announced before the weekend.
Dr Bev closes the Barn Stage, according to the festival's announcement reported by Nation.Cymru in July. She comes to Lamphey after appearing at São Paulo Pride and will pose for photographs in the rainbow outfit she wore there, with donations going to Pembrokeshire Pride's community work.
Around the stage there is live music, line dancing, a quiz with prizes, wellbeing sessions and activities for children. The stalls come from local makers, artists and independent businesses. The food is street food: Mexican dishes, barbecue, loaded jacket potatoes and sweets.
Getting in
Tickets are pay what you choose, and one ticket covers both days. Every visitor needs their own, children included, and under-16s have to come with a responsible adult. The festival is run as a family event, and the organisers say overtly sexual clothing or behaviour, aggression and offensive conduct will not be tolerated. The chair, Donna Humphrey, calls it "a place where you can come as you are".
Pembrokeshire for a visitor
Lamphey is a village just east of Pembroke, a short way inland from the south Pembrokeshire coast. Gaycation.eu lists no LGBTQ+ bars or venues in the county, so the festival is the event of the weekend rather than a day added to an existing scene.
The legal picture
Same-sex marriage has been legal in England and Wales since 2013, with the first weddings in March 2014, and same-sex couples can adopt jointly under the Adoption and Children Act 2002. A ban on conversion practices has been under discussion since 2018 without becoming law. The United Kingdom scores 43.9 out of 100 on ILGA-Europe's Rainbow Index. More on our United Kingdom page.
