A Day of Pride takes over Culturum, the culture house in Nyköping, on Saturday 3 October 2026. Entry is free. The town's own events guide, Nyköpingsguiden, published the timetable with times and names on 23 September. Three rooms run at the same time, so it helps to know it before you arrive.

The Musikteater Unna piece is worth planning the afternoon around. It is built from court records that the two performers found in the Swedish National Archives, tells the story of a nyckelharpa player who lived as Magnus Johansson under Karl XII, and lasts 55 minutes. According to the company it has been played more than 200 times since its premiere at Stockholm Pride in 2012.
For children aged three to eight there is a stop motion film workshop with Cinema Queer from 11:00 to 13:00 at Barnkulturcentrum, Prästgatan 12, a few streets from Culturum.
Getting there, and what else is on
Nyköping is on the coast south of Stockholm, and the day is organised by the study association NBV with the municipality's culture and library service. We list no bars or clubs in the town.
