Sauna Bruc opened in 1980, which puts it among the oldest gay men's spas in Barcelona — and in a city that has seen venues come and go at some pace, that matters. The founders had already been running a gay bar in the city before they decided to add a sauna to the operation. The venue moved from its original premises to its current address on Carrer de Pau Claris in the Eixample, and has been extended more than once since.
The wet area is organised around a 27-square-metre hydromassage pool held at 27°C with salt chlorination, with a full circuit of water jets covering the lower back, neck, knees and abdomen. A jacuzzi for up to eight people sits alongside it. A Finnish dry sauna and a steam room are both available, along with six shower cubicles and a locker room with more than 150 lockers.
The private rooms each carry the name of a European city — Berlin, London, Paris, Rome, Lisbon, Sitges — which makes giving directions to someone a slightly more interesting exercise than usual. The more recently added Egyptian-themed wing brings additional rooms into the mix, including two with adjustable lighting and a large communal sex room upstairs. The darkroom has its own name: Passeig de la Vall Fosca. There is also a video room with two recliners and glory holes, for those in less of a rush.
The bar runs tapas, sandwiches and drinks, with a 42-inch TV running alongside. Outside, the Jardí del Fum is a planted patio with an electric heater for cooler evenings. Water quality at the pool and jacuzzi is independently certified on a rolling basis by the Ajuntament de Barcelona and the certificates are kept current on the venue's website.

I visited this place on a Sunday afternoon and had a great time. The sauna is clean and has nice facilities. Definitely recommended if you’re into older guys, daddy type and so on. The staff is very friendly. The jacuzzi has really strong water jets. Overall, I had a very pleasant time and felt relaxed.

This sauna has the best vibes out of other saunas in Barcelona.
The place is clean, it’s really big, the decoration is a bit tacky but honestly it’s part of the charm, the hamam and sauna are nice and warm, great pool and jacuzzi, and the back room area is huge.
Also the smoking patio is a really nice and peaceful place to chill and smoke before getting back in, a really nice break !
Now for the guys there, it’s mostly mature and bear like men, that’s who this place is for, I was warn when entering, there are no doubts with that, but this create such a nice atmosphere ! The guys are chill, talkative, respectful but also horny which is a great mix ! Just make sure that’s the type of guys you’re looking for, if you’re into younger guys or twinks you wont find them here.
But despite that, even as a younger guy, I didn’t feel unwelcome here.
The staff was helpful, welcoming and accommodating , even if I don’t speak a lot of Spanish or Catalan they still took time to understand me.
Would really recommend this place if you’re into older guys and want to have fun or chill 👍
I dont do much sauna 5 star reviews but here it is.
It was 36° outside. The temperature inside was perfect everywhere. The main area and dark rooms where not to hot for tops to keep f ing, And not to cold for bottoms. The pool was not to hot but also not cold. The wet steamroom looks nice includes speaker with music, its not really big but i guess its not as populair as steamrooms in colder countries.
No furniture or beds are worn out or has cracks. As far as i saw.
I personally like the music, they have nice mixed knows songs instead of boom boom DJ music.
No indeed this is not a place to f youngs guys. But a nice place to get f by a lot of unholy daddys as a relative young guy.
An amazing place. Was there last Wednesday and it was wonderful. The place was packed with very nice people . I was there from 1:30 pm until 7:30pm. The place is very clean , the dry sauna seemed to be new and freshly done. The people I connected with where in all age groups , 40’s 50’s 60’s. People are friendly the establishment team are very friendly and nice, all speak good English. The bar is nice and the food is fantastic. If you want to have a good time , this is a MUST place to visit. I will for sure return and recommend it to any traveler who is in the area. You get my 120% vote. Thank you for The hard work. So I went there a second time on Monday afternoon- 3pm-7:30pm. It was absolutely awesome, got compliments from some hot guys, connected with some hot lips in a dark place and played ball with a few. So if you like sports and you like to eat , if you are flexible and a team player come over the guys would love to host you and show you a good time. Can not wait to visit this place again.
This sauna is absolutely amazing and exactly what it's meant for. Relaxing, calm but happening too, and unstoppable opportunity of enjoyment. A bit towards lower end in terms of cleanliness on the leather beds but mostly overly it's an amazing place to be either with friends or alone like me. Hope to give it a revisit retry for sure. Recommended. A bit pricey on 16 € but overall its great..
