Churros con Chocolate

Churros con Chocolate is a Sunday LGBTQ+ party in Barcelona, running from the afternoon deep into the night at Sala Apolo in Poble-sec. Every edition has a theme, and the music is hits, pop, dance and Spanish party classics, with drag acts, dancers and contests on stage. As the name promises, churros and chocolate are served in the afternoon.

Some Sundays run as spin-offs: Drag Factor is a drag show and competition night, and Antichurros is another variation on the Sunday format. When the club season at Apolo ends, the party moves up Montjuïc to La Terrrazza in the Poble Espanyol for open-air Sunday evenings through the summer.

The crowd is mixed and mostly queer, and dressing up for the theme is encouraged.
