Safari Disco Club is one of Barcelona's best-known gay and LGBTQ+ nightlife destinations, operating under the Grupo Arena umbrella at Carrer de Tarragona 141 in the Sants-Montjuïc district. Conveniently positioned just a short walk from Barcelona Sants railway station, Plaça Espanya, and a single stop on the L3 metro line, the venue draws a broad crowd from across the city and beyond. The club spreads across more than 1,100 square metres and accommodates upwards of 900 guests across two main rooms. The principal Club room features a large stage, an expansive dance floor, reserved seating areas, a covered outdoor smoking terrace, and a cloakroom. A second, more intimate room offers a separate bar and lounge-style seating, while a cocktail zone provides an additional social space within the main hall. Four VIP rooms are available for private hire.Regular weekly nights have made Safari a fixture on the Barcelona scene. Bananas Gay Party runs on Fridays and draws crowds with a high-energy mix of pop hits and reggaeton across two rooms. Saturday nights are given over to YASS! Barcelona, an inclusive LGBTQ+ party celebrating diversity through pop, house, and dance music in an explicitly safe space. Occasional special events include POPair, a long-running night popular with the bear community, and the sporadic Tanga Party.

It’s a really big club with nice ambient lightning. Loud speakers and nice dance floor and sittings. They have multiple bars and different drinks.
You can also organize or host events at this place. Definitely recommended if you can get in. I was only there once because we had a conference after party there.
It's an extremely old school, extremely local neighborhood kind of club. Don't expect too much, as it's not one of your trendy Pacha or Shoko; but it works.
Huge space, trendy sing-along tunes, and great speakers. Drinks are reasonably priced. The crowd is a tad bit older (both guys and girls), and they're LGBTQ-friendly.
We paid 25eur per pax to check the place out; wasn't expecting much to begin with. Had a G&T before we left.
They lost my jacket because the employees were fighting and somehow one of them forgort my number/tickets and then they didn’t know what happened with my jacket. We pay for a service and then suddenly they just don’t know how to manager it well. I mean it’s just a jacket and not a baby or a pet. Exhausting and stressing to be waiting to whole disco to leave for me to get the jacket left. Get better, if you don’t know to manager a simple jacket you shouldn’t open a nightclub.
My experience at Safari Disco Club was extremely negative and deeply concerning.
In the early hours of February 28th, around 3 a.m., an altercation occurred inside the venue when a group of men pushed my friend and me. The intervention by security staff did not help de-escalate the situation; on the contrary, it unnecessarily escalated the conflict. Security consistently defended the other guests, who were acting aggressively, and acted against me.
During the removal process, I was physically harmed, including being sprayed with pepper spray, and one member of the security team punched me in the upper lip, causing bleeding and visible marks. Physical violence against a guest should never occur under any circumstances.
What was most alarming was the behavior afterward: mocking and highly unprofessional attitudes from the staff while I was clearly affected. This reflects a serious lack of professionalism, training, and basic de-escalation skills.
There are photographs and witnesses of the incident. I am sharing this review so that management seriously reviews its security procedures, as this kind of conduct puts customers at risk. I sincerely hope measures are taken so that no one else has to go through an experience like this.
Most stupid club ever! The terrible music on the main room and the security guards are extremely rude, disrespectful, disgusting 🤮 They put you out of the club for no reason, you must listen to them even you don’t even know what’s happening ! DONT GO THERE! MUST AWFUL CLUB IN TOWN👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
