Priscilla Cafe is a gay and queer bar in the heart of Barcelona's Gaixample neighbourhood, the city's established LGBTQ+ hub. Part of Believe Group BCN, which has operated across the Barcelona queer scene since 2017, the venue draws its name and spirit from the 1994 Australian film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. That reference is carried through into the decor, which is distinctive, kitsch and unapologetically camp, giving the space a personality all of its own.
The bar serves cocktails, beers and a food menu that includes pizzas and lighter dishes, making it equally suitable for an afternoon visit or a full evening out. A pop and dance soundtrack runs throughout, and the venue regularly hosts drag performances that draw a lively crowd of locals and visitors alike. A Sunday drag bingo brunch is among the recurring events on the calendar.
The atmosphere is cosmopolitan and relaxed, welcoming to a broad mix of guests. Priscilla Cafe sits alongside a wider portfolio of venues under the Believe Group BCN umbrella, which includes Believe Club, LaCarrà, Pink Corner and several others across the city.

Loved this bar! You can really tell they put a lot of effort into the décor—it gives the place so much character. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely a spot worth checking out.
We really liked this place thanks to its originality and tasty cocktails! We took a mojito and a margarita and both of them were great! The decors inside are bold and original. We didn’t make any reservation, we just went there and we were lucky enough to find a free table. The staff were very friendly. Overall, we highly recommend this place!
One of my fave bars in Barcelona. Very fair prices, amazing cocktails, fun to look at and great music always.
Hidden gems for meet up during the day!
It's my favourite bar, they open very early from noon time, the staff are nice.
Most of drink are reasonable price.
The decorator are lovely and they have little music.
Every time we travel to Barcelona, we go to Priscilla Café. We are usually very well received, and it used to be the same staff, but we noticed that every day there is a different team. On two occasions, we were treated very poorly by the young man in the photo. He is extremely rude, has no manners, and is not friendly at all, which takes away all the credibility of such a well-known bar in the city. It’s a shame, because we will not be returning. Both times we were served by him, the experiences were terrible.
