Priscilla Cafe is a gay and queer bar in the heart of Barcelona's Gaixample neighbourhood, the city's established LGBTQ+ hub. Part of Believe Group BCN, which has operated across the Barcelona queer scene since 2017, the venue draws its name and spirit from the 1994 Australian film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. That reference is carried through into the decor, which is distinctive, kitsch and unapologetically camp, giving the space a personality all of its own.
The bar serves cocktails, beers and a food menu that includes pizzas and lighter dishes, making it equally suitable for an afternoon visit or a full evening out. A pop and dance soundtrack runs throughout, and the venue regularly hosts drag performances that draw a lively crowd of locals and visitors alike.
