Maricon Ghetto Friendly Bar sits on Carrer d'Aribau, and the graffiti across its front window asks whether you are ready for it. Behind the glass it is plants, red light and a bar that sees itself as the place to start the night.
The music is urban: trap, reggaeton and current hits, with shows and events on top. It says there is room for everyone and that nobody needs a label to have a good time. It is run by the same group as several other LGBTIQ+ bars and clubs in the Gaixample, and the space can be hired for private events.
