D'Men's Gay Bar occupies a compact but characterful space on Carrer del Consell de Cent, right in the centre of Barcelona's Gaixample district. The bar was created through a collaboration between Moeem Barcelona and Grupo Arena, two well-established names in the city's gay nightlife scene, and it draws on their combined experience to deliver a relaxed but energetic atmosphere from the moment the doors open.
The interior is styled with a modern edge, featuring neon lighting, a distinctive green-walled foyer and an overall aesthetic that rewards a scroll through the Instagram feed before or after a visit. The main space is deliberately intimate, with a bar area and a compact dance floor at its heart. Rather than competing on scale, D'Men's leans into the warmth and ease of a well-run neighbourhood bar where staff friendliness is consistently noted by regulars and visitors alike.
Music is central to the D'Men's experience. The bar steers clear of the circuit sounds that dominate much of Barcelona's gay scene, instead building its sets around disco, pop, house and dance, with rotating DJs keeping the energy moving through the night. At weekends, drag performances add an additional layer of spectacle and entertainment, with Friday nights traditionally hosting a drag show.
The bar attracts a broad and inclusive crowd that spans locals and visitors, with the Moeem and Grupo Arena connection ensuring a loyal following among those already fond of those sister venues. Free entry and a position at the accessible end of the evening's timetable make D'Men's an appealing first stop before a longer night out in the Gaixample, as well as a destination worth staying in all evening.

Great experience in this club, good music, good people and good cocktails
The waiters are so kind and gentle
I will come back for sure
The crowd is more 40+ kind of average guy, but the space is nice and the music better than average. Some disco, some pop, well mixed, from Patrick Cowley to Kylie. The “dark room” is the size of my shower recess at home, just a small tiled space off the toilets. Very friendly service. Would have stayed but we were looking for an edgier crowd.
5 stars for the best sound system of all the bars in Barcelona. I liked the music, as there was no reggaeton. ♥️
01/09. Lowering my rating. Music is getting boring, not the same as before. Now its the whole night same beat and rhythm, with no variation.
Walked in and it seemed like a nice place. Bartender asked for my drink order and I asked for tequila on the rocks. 23 euros for just patron. Easily highest price I paid in Barcelona. I asked why it was so high and he said the price is what it is.
Overpriced! Coming from NYC... I've never paid so much for a drink in my life. 30€ for Patron tequila w/soda??? With a measured pour no less! I felt robbed!
