Carita Bonita is a music bar on Carrer de Balmes, in the stretch of the Eixample known as the Gaixample. It calls itself a women's music bar for lesbians and friends, and the rest of the LGBTQ+ crowd is welcome too.
The bar serves cocktails, with mojitos as the house favourite, and small tapas earlier in the evening. Music is the point of the place: DJ nights, jam sessions and themed parties, and it also takes bookings for private events.
It is a weekend bar rather than a daily one.
