Grenland Pride runs for four days across the Grenland area of Telemark, and the parade goes through Skien.
It is organised by Skæiv, the local queer association. The festival calls itself Præid, the dialect spelling, and that is the name on its posters and on the support bands it sells.
Skien and Porsgrunn sit at the head of the Frierfjord, about two hours south west of Oslo.
