The Brewers sits at the Princess Street end of Canal Street. It is a bar at the front and a club behind, and it holds a late licence, so it takes the crowd that has already been somewhere else.
The week is built around named nights, each with its own host and music policy, and drag runs through most of them. Bingo and cabaret fill the earlier part of the evening.
The room is exposed brick and neon rather than the polished look of the newer Village bars. There is outdoor seating on the street when the weather allows.
