About this Event
Trans Pride Northern Ireland is a march and rally for trans, non-binary and intersex people. It sets out from Writer's Square in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter, the open square opposite St Anne's Cathedral, and it draws people from across Northern Ireland rather than from Belfast alone.
The march is the centre of a wider festival. The organisers put out a call each year for events to include, so the programme is built from what the community submits and changes from one edition to the next. Recent years have brought an art market, cafe meet-ups and evenings of film and music at venues around the city in the days either side.
Allies are welcome to march. The organisation works on trans visibility across Northern Ireland for the rest of the year and this is the day it is most visible.
