Azul is the only gay sauna in Vigo and has been open since 1993. It is on Rúa do Roupeiro, a discreet street in the middle of the city that carries little through traffic.
The place is small and laid out over two floors. Downstairs there is the entrance hall with a small bar, the changing room and showers, a steam room and a dry sauna, and four cabins at the back. Upstairs holds most of the cabins along with a video room and a dark room, all of it arranged around a circular corridor.
It has been refurbished a couple of times over the years but has never grown much past its original footprint. Phoning ahead is the sensible move.
