Nº29 opened in September 2024 on Rúa de Rosalía de Castro, in the space a disco pub called Cuarenta had left behind. It is the newest of Vigo's gay venues, and it set out to pick up from the bars that once made the streets around Serafín Avendaño, Areal and Churruca the city's gay quarter.
The venue runs over two floors with three distinct areas. The ground floor has the dance floor and the stage, where drag performers, singers and other acts appear. A lounge with sofas and tables is the quieter part, meant for talking rather than dancing. Upstairs is a smaller room used for electronic sets and for private bookings.
The crowd covers a wide range of ages, which is not the norm in Vigo nightlife. The upper room is tight on space once it fills.
