Gounder Atelier is a workshop and shop in one, on Carrer de Cuba in Ruzafa, directly across from La Boba y el Gato Rancio. It makes men's underwear, swimwear, sportswear, shorts and T-shirts on the premises rather than buying them in.
That is the distinction worth drawing in a quarter where the other option is a branded chain store: this is a small maker selling its own work, so the range is narrower and changes with what has been made.
Ruzafa's queer venues are within a few minutes' walk in every direction, which makes it easy to fold into an afternoon.
