Bubu

Bubu is Valencia's bear bar, on Carrer del Botànic in Extramurs, a couple of minutes from the Àngel Guimerà metro. Its own description of the crowd is bears and admirers, and the room stays mixed in age. The bar traded as Botànic Bear for years before the current name, and older guides still list it that way.

Music, screens and a bar counter rather than a dancefloor. The place runs themed parties and doubles as a ticket point for the Mad Bear events that bring bears to the city, so it fills up hard around those weekends and stays a neighbourhood bar the rest of the time.

It sits west of the old centre, away from the Russafa cluster, which keeps the crowd more local than touristy.
