Maracuya is a men-only guesthouse a few minutes' walk from La Nogalera. The whole house is clothing optional, which is the thing to know before booking: it applies to the rooms, the common areas and the roof alike.

The roof terrace is the centre of the place, with sun loungers, a self-service bar and an outdoor shower. Sundown drinks and a communal dinner are put on several times a week, which is what makes it work for people travelling on their own.

Breakfast is included and there is Wi-Fi throughout. A professional masseur can be booked. The house takes men over eighteen, gay, bi, straight and trans. The beach is about ten minutes away and Malaga airport a short taxi or train ride.
