Pipazo Weekend

Pipazo Weekend is a folkloric party weekend for queer women, run by the Torremolinos collective Reynas. The centrepiece is a twelve hour non stop party at the Peña Flamenca Torremolinos, a flamenco club on the fairground site rather than a nightclub, and that choice sets the tone for the whole thing.

The music runs from pop and reggaeton through urban to electronic. There is a walk of fame laid out for the Spanish folk singers the party is named after, a photo spot built around one of them, and a paella that comes with the ticket. The evening before the main party is a meet and greet at the hotel for anyone on the full package.

The two previous editions sold out with more than nine hundred women in town. The weekend package covers the apartment, breakfast, the meet and greet and entry to the party, and the organisers will pair up anyone travelling alone who wants to share.
