Vanilla is the cafe end of Plaza de la Nogalera, and its own description of itself is four words long: bar, first drink, good atmosphere, good coffee. That is the whole proposition and it is an honest one.
It runs from morning coffee through to the small hours, which makes it the one place on the plaza that covers both ends of a day. There is a kitchen, tables outside, and none of the programme the bars around it run.
