Chessabar is one of the small bars of La Nogalera, in the apartment block at 408 rather than out on the plaza. It is a bar to start an evening in and a bar people come back to, which is most of what the regulars say about it.
It changed hands and now trades as Chessabar by Maiky. The room is small, the staff are the draw, and a booked entertainer turns up for a drag or bingo night often enough to be part of the character.
It does not run a website, a card machine's worth of programme or much of anything else. It is a bar.
