About this Event
The International Bears Sitges Meeting is the spring edition of the town's bear calendar, run by the same association behind the September week and timed to the Spanish May Day weekend. It draws a couple of thousand people rather than the eight thousand of the autumn, and there is no Bear Village, so everyone is together in the bars from early evening.
The programme is looser than the September one: beach days at Balmins, a bar route through the sponsor bars, a sunset on the rooftop of the MiM hotel, a barbecue at Le Patio, themed nights at Bear Dance and late parties at Bears Disco. Bear's Bar acts as the official base and is where the packs are handed out.
The meeting doubles as the opening of the summer season in Sitges, which is why it is busier than the size of the event alone would suggest.
