Bears Bar is the bear meeting point in Sitges, on the stretch of Carrer Bonaire that people call Bear Street. The crowd is bears, cubs, chubs, daddies and admirers, and it skews older and more relaxed than the bars a street over.
The bar was gutted and rebuilt in 2016 and now has a large cruising area at the back and open-plan toilets, plus a terrace on the street where most of the socialising happens. Bear videos play inside.
It is one of the anchor venues for Bears Week, which brings several thousand men to Sitges twice a year, and it runs underwear parties and monthly bear events with the sauna.
