Mentiroso is a gay cafe-bar a few steps from the Metropol Parasol, which puts it away from the Alameda de Hercules and the rest of the scene. It works as a cafe in the daytime and turns into a bar in the evening.
The crowd is a mix of younger and older regulars, and the place runs its own Pride party, which is the night it is best known for. There is a terrace.
It is the one gay bar in Seville that is not on or near the Alameda, so it draws people who are in the centre rather than out for the night.
