El Bosque Animado is a gay bar on Calle Arias Montano, the short side street off the Alameda de Hercules where most of Seville's gay nightlife sits. It opens in the afternoon and works as the first stop of an evening rather than the last.
Most of the crowd is outside. The street terrace runs until late and on Friday and Saturday nights it takes over the pavement. Cocktails, coffee and cake are all on the list, and the ages mix.
The terraces around it on the Alameda are mixed crowds. This one is the gay one, which is why the city's guides keep naming it as the anchor of the street.
