Dilema

Dilema is a queer bar on the Alameda de Hercules with a terrace and a room decorated to no particular scheme. Its own Instagram sums up the door policy: everyone is welcome, gay, trans, lesbian, even straight.

Drinks are ordered at the bar inside rather than brought to the table, which is why it undercuts the terraces on either side of it. That, and the fact that it opens in the early afternoon, makes it a daytime spot as much as a night one.

It is one of the few places on the square that reads as queer rather than merely tolerant, and the crowd tends to be younger than at the bars on the side streets.
